Crayform 7 was designed with the above lip in mind. However, you can make your own or experiment with other styles if you want. The thickness of the lip slot is 0.060" (1.5mm)

You can make your own also. Or use what you have, most smaller screw eyes will fit.

You will need a selection of small ball sinkers or split shot sinkers. The weights are secured in place with a screw eye and pin as shown in the instruction pictures. The amount of lead used will depend on the density of your resin mixture and your prefered rate of rise or fall. 

To pour your baits you will need some Polyurathane resin and Micro Ballons. The liquid resin hardens when you mix the two parts together. You add the microballons to make the resin lighter so it floats. The ratio of resin to Balloons is refered to as a recipe. Below is the recipe I use for crayform 7. However, differnt brands of resin and ballons vary significantly in there properties. For this reason, the recipe is a starting point only. You will need to experiment with your own recipe and lead weight amount to get the bait exactly how you want it. Its not hard, but it might take a few trial runs. Keep a notebook handy to record your results.
